Help our business stay Here For Good!

Our small business has been devastated with over 300 corona virus related cancellations and very few new reservations are coming in due to travel restrictions and stay at home orders. We waived all cancellation fees because we understand that what matters most is the health and safety of our clients and our community. We applied for all of the grants and aid that has been offered through the Small Business Association and other sources in March, but as of yet no assistance has come through. In ten years of business, we have never had such a rough year.  We are determined to be there when you need us to care for your pets, but I’m not going to lie, we are struggling right now. A little help from our friends sure would be greatly appreciated!  We have tried to refrain from asking for help because we know many of you are hurting as well. However, several of you have sent messages asking if you can send tips or buy gift cards to help our business survive this pandemic, so we have come up with a few ways you can help us out. We are excited to announce that we have shirts, hats and gift cards available for purchase!

Purchasing a Here For Good t-shirt or hat will help two local small businesses survive these uncertain times and make sure we are here for good! It supports both Home Run Pet Care and Rocket Shirts. We are thrilled to have been nominated to benefit from this campaign!  All you have to do is go to www.hereforgoodtn.com and follow these steps:

1. Pick your shirt or hat color & size.
2. Select our business, Home Run Pet Care, and purchase your hats & shirts.
3. You just helped us to be Here For Good!

Stay tuned in to our Facebook and Instagram pages because we are going to run some fun contests soon for everyone that supports us in the Here For Good campaign! Spoiler alert: There may be a big gift card giveaway involved!

We now offer both traditional plastic gift cards and instant E-gift cards for sale on our website. They can be used for pet sitting or dog walking services and they never expire. So, if you need a gift for a friend or family member please consider this as an option. We are certain that when travel is safe again, every pet guardian will be thankful to have prepaid reliable care for their fur kids! It’s also a great way to say thank you to essential workers like mail carriers and medical providers that are working hard to keep our community going. You can even pay it forward by purchasing one of our gift cards to be donated to a local animal rescue for them to use in their fundraising auctions. When you place your order just let us know what rescue you would like to support and we will take care of the rest! Traditional and Instant E-Gift cards can be purchased directly from our website here: https://homerunpetcare.com/gift-cards/

We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing your fur kids again when you need us!  Stay safe and well.

Barktoberfest 2017 – We Speak For The Trees

This was our 6th year participating in Nashville Paw Magazine’s Barktoberfest event. We always offer a fun photo-op and have giveaways, but this year we decided to do something really special. We gave away 300 blue spruce tree saplings at our Lorax themed booth this year to spread some love around the community and help our environment. Thank you to each and every one of you that planted your trees! Did you know that one tree produces nearly 260 pounds of oxygen each year? If every family in America planted just one tree, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would be reduced by one billion pounds annually. When we join together, even the smallest acts make a huge impact on our world. We were thrilled to see everyone speaking for the trees! Check out the photos on our Facebook page here:

It’s not about what it is, it’s about what it can become. ~ The Lorax

Our Favorite Leash

We are often asked for recommendations about pet products, so today we want to share our favorite leash with you. There are a lot of good ones out there, but our favorite, by far, is Luv My Leash.

We highly recommend using the 6ft Leash Harness as an alternative to prong collars or choke chains. It’s amazing how well it works to keep your dog from pulling without causing pain or discomfort.

Give it a try!
