About Us
Caring for animals isn’t what we do, it’s who we are.
We care for all species of animals and all breeds are welcome. Big or small, we love them all. We believe in diversity, acceptance and being kind to one another. There should never be any doubt that everyone, staff and clients, feel safe to be who they are knowing that they will be respected and accepted. Honesty and trust between our staff and the clients we serve is the cornerstone of our business and we simply will not tolerate discrimination in any form.
Home Run Pet Care’s team of professional pet care specialists work hard to hold ourselves and the pet sitting and dog walking industries to a higher standard. We are a fully licensed, insured and bonded locally owned small business that has been serving the Middle TN area since 2010. All of our pet care specialists are employees, not contractors, so you can rest assured that they are well trained and reliable. Every member of our staff has passed complete background checks and drug screening as well as receiving in depth training which includes pet first aid and CPR certification. We enroll our staff in continuing education opportunities on a regular basis to stay up to date on current best practices in animal care and positive reinforcement methods.
We are all excited to be currently working toward our Fear Free Certifications.

Marge Wild

Owner & Pet Care Specialist
Marge (she/her) founded Home Run Pet Care in 2010 after struggling to find reliable, experienced pet sitters for her own senior pets that needed medication and close monitoring. She quickly found the need in her area for full time professional pet sitters was much greater than she had realized and the company has been growing ever since. As with all small business owners, she wears many hats. She spends most of her time running the business, but still works in the field caring for her clients that have been with her since the beginning. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time at home with her wife, Karry and their four rescued fur kids. There’s Roscoe the dachshund, their foster failure who was only supposed to be with them for a weekend and loves to work in the garden with his mom. Hazel, their puppy mill survivor who spent her first years living outside in a wooden box who’s favorite thing now is a fresh blanket straight from the dryer. Then there’s Loki, rescued from the streets of Nashville, who they swear is part werewolf and part fruit bat. His favorite pastimes include holding hands with his moms and making friends with everyone he meets. And then there is Possum, their blind cat they adopted as a kitten from Mississippi as part of shelter relief efforts after Hurricane Issac. Like most blind pets, he has superpowers and can catch a fly between his paws in midair. When he meows, he sounds just like he’s yelling, “Mom!” and he expects a response. He will keep meowing until he gets one. They all take turns helping Marge with office work and are very helpful. Just ask them!

Pet Care Specialist & Social Media Manager
Christi (she/they) is a born and raised Nashville native and has been active in pet care since 2013. She has worked in all facets of the animal care industry from running a retail store, working with rescues and rescue transports across the country, and veterinary medicine as a technician for several years which all helped prepare her for the role of pet care specialist with Home Run Pet Care. At home, Christi keeps her own small rescue zoo and is comfortable with many types of animals and their care. She has Noodles (aka Nash), her 8 year old Husky who they lovingly refer to as a mini cow, two kittens aptly named Beetlejuice and Lydia who keep the whole house on their toes, a 23 year old Blue Crown Conure named Jareth, several geckos, a snake, and an axolotl. Christi is experienced with special needs pets and medical management in home settings. In addition to being certified in pet first aid and CPR, she is extensively trained through her time as a technician in all manner of scenarios. When Christi isn’t caring for your babies, she spends much of her time with her own pets just hanging out. Noodles loves a good walk so hiking is a favorite activity alongside gardening, crafting and cooking like Alton Brown.
